Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms," "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Village Karikadai mobile application (the "Service," "App") operated by Village Karikadai ("us," "we," or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

 

1. Definitions

 

  • "App" refers to the Village Karikadai mobile application.

  • "User," "You," "Your" refers to the individual or entity that has registered for or is using the Service.

  • "Products" refers to the meat, food items, and any other goods offered for sale through the App.

  • "Order" refers to a selection of Products placed by a User for purchase and delivery.

 

2. Account Registration

 

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and account credentials.

  • Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

 

3. Orders, Payments, and Pricing

 

  • Placing Orders: By placing an Order, you make an offer to purchase the Products you have selected. All Orders are subject to our acceptance, which we may grant or refuse at our sole discretion.

  • Pricing: All prices for Products are listed in the App. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Prices may include applicable taxes and delivery fees, which will be displayed to you before you confirm your Order.

  • Payment: We use third-party payment gateways to process payments. You agree to provide current and accurate payment information. By confirming your Order, you authorize us (or our third-party processor) to charge your selected payment method. We are not responsible for any errors by the payment processor.

  • Weight of Products: For meat and other Products sold by weight, the exact weight may vary slightly from the weight ordered. We will make every effort to match the ordered weight, and pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

 

4. Delivery Policy

 

  • Delivery Areas: We deliver to specific geographic areas ("Delivery Zones"). If your location is outside our Delivery Zones, we will not be able to process your Order.

  • Delivery Times: We provide estimated delivery time slots. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Acceptance of Delivery: You or a designated representative must be present to receive the Order at the specified delivery address. If no one is available, we will attempt to contact you. We reserve the right to charge a re-delivery fee if applicable.

  • Title and Risk: Risk of loss and title for Products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or upon handing it over to you at the delivery address.

 

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Returns

    • If you receive a Product that is incorrect, damaged, or not fresh, you must contact us at nammavillagekarikadai@gmail.com within a specified time (e.g., "within 2 hours of delivery") and provide photographic evidence.

    • We will review your complaint. At our sole discretion, we may offer a replacement, a store credit, or a refund to your original payment method.

 

6. Product Information

 

We make every effort to display the Products and their descriptions as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that the Product descriptions, images, or other content on the App are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. All images are for illustrative purposes only.

 

7. User Conduct

 

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law.

  • Engage in any fraudulent activity or transaction.

  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App.

  • Upload any viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All content on the App, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Village Karikadai or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Service without our prior written permission.

 

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

The Service and all Products are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service or the Products, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Village Karikadai (including its directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • (a) Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service.

  • (b) Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.

  • (c) Any Products purchased through the Service.

  • (d) Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

 

11. Indemnification

 

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Village Karikadai and its employees, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service.

  • Your violation of any term of these Terms.

  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.

  • Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

 

12. Changes to Terms

 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
